I'm trying to figure out what to do for the design of talksteer's packaging.
This is a possibility, just 'plain-ish' looking. I'm not sure though, any suggestions are welcome. The base colour is probably going to be black or it can be recycled brown cardboard colour.
i would stick with black as the base colour as it seems more professional and serious, which is what your going for i think. other than that it looks good...did u do that up in solidworks then photoshop?
ReplyDeleteLooks very apple, which as we all know, but find hard to admit is a good thing. Do not even think about using recycled cardboard, wouldn't suit the product i don't think. Satin black is my pick, because white is taken. Are you going to paint up the whole ones you printed and use them in the display box?

ReplyDeleteYeah I'm going to keep it black, although it will be matte as the cardboard soaks up the paint a fair bit. Unfortunately it's not the super nice satin cardboard some packaging uses, thats for sure, but it should do the job.
ReplyDeleteI think it's the words on the sides that is giving it the 'apple chic'. I think it still expresses my style enough to differentiate it. Are you not a fan, Do you think I should change it up a bit? Ill throw up another idea i had earlier, but thought it was a bit much.
This box will house the proper model, as opposed to just sitting them on a table or something. I have a couple of little tricks up my sleeve for this model yet too, just for laughs :)

I like the positioning of the text on the new one, but the size of the old one. To me, it looks far to big in that new one.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the new one, but as mike said maybe the text is too big. Other than that it looks great and i think the white text looks better than the blue even though your product has blue text. :-)
