Carbon Practice

I layed a patch of carbon the other day to have a practice run before laying it on my model (fingers crossed it comes out of the printer tomorrow without breaking).  To be honest I wasn't super impressed with the initial finish of the carbon.  I have since sprayed it with about 5 layers of clear enamel.  The finish is really starting to look impressive, the clear helps the carbon weave grab the light.  I think with a bit of wet and dry and around three additional coats of clear, it will look a million bucks.  On another note, today I mixed up some Maserati paint (Nero - Black) & may use it for the body of talksteer.

Cant wait to see your finished model.. i'm sure we will see all stages of it updated on here.

I pity the fools in that class to compete with yours..
