I feel that some people were feeling the hanging storage part was visually disconnected from the vertical supports of the desk. Perhaps you could stretch the storage part out, to meet the lines of the vertical supports (below) or add titanium trim on the edges at the same angle as the vertical supports to connect them a little bit (above).
Thanks heaps man, all very good ideas.. i feel its close to what i want but as you point out there are a few little details which don't quite flow. Gotta love the cintiq. This is why i miss working in a team too btw. Thanks, i will take these in today and show the big V.
